Week One

Week Two

Week Three

Week Three Recap:

The week before last I focused on a quote. I journaled about the quote until I figured out what it was that had caught my attention. One thought led to another thought the next day and the next until I found the root! For me, it was something I needed to work on in my own life.

All in all, it’s not a bad way to journal, but I don’t think I would do it that way constantly.

On to Week Four!

Remember the list of journal ideas from Week One? Here’s what we have left to choose from:

  • Prayer Journal
  • Looking Inward (Emotions) Journal

My journaling this week is going to focus on Prayer

The first question could be, “Why aren’t you using the Prayer Journal pages, then?”

My answer? When I think of the Prayer Journal page, I think of it more as a request-and-answer page. You have a request, you write it down and wait to see how God leads, and you record the answer alongside the request.

When I think of a prayer journal on the Journal pages, I am thinking more along the lines of writing a letter to God. Writing a prayer to God.

Another way you can make a prayer journal is to write down a question or request at the beginning of the week, and then throughout the rest of the week note how God is leading you in answer to that question or request. (Much like the Prayer Journal page, only with a little more room to write your thoughts!)

Have a good week!
